WINDSOR, CT — IP Genie has been authorized by the State of Connecticut to sell its Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone solutions on a no-contract/no-RFP basis to the state’s municipalities, schools and libraries under its sole-source contract with the Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT). “With our emphasis on municipalities, school districts and non-profits — combined with the ability to offer low-cost, highly reliable VOIP solutions — made IP Genie an ideal choice for the contract. Since that time they have worked on over a dozen projects. Recently, IP Genie completed a 600-phone system for the Farmington School District. It is considered one of the largest, state-of-the-art VOIP systems in Connecticut.
